What is the EL MOTO project?
On March 25, 2025, the European Commission declared 47 projects as strategic projects to guarantee the supply of critical raw materials essential to the continent's industry and technology. Among them, the "El Moto" tungsten mining project stands out with particular relevance. This deposit not only houses a key mineral for the energy and technological transition, but, once operational, will have the capacity to cover up to 25% of Europe's tungsten demand, consolidating its position as a key pillar in the energy and technological transition.
«El Moto» tungsten project in Ciudad Real (Spain) belongs to PMC, a solid business group with a deep mining tradition around the world. Our commitment to excellence and sustainability has led us to develop one of the largest near-surface tungsten and gold deposits in the world.
After obtaining environmental and mining permits (environmental impact statement and 90-year exploitation concession) and 14 years of research, we have a complete understanding of the deposit and are looking to expand it and further increase its value. The project is "ready to build."
WHERE WE ARE
Located in the province of Ciudad Real, the El Moto project is one of the most important wolfram deposits in Europe, with production could represent 25% of the European demand.
